"Betwixt bach" - for solo violin

Commissioned for the 300th anniversary of the completion of the Bach Six Sonatas and Partitas for Solo Violin, McKinley will compose a set of connecting movements, including a prelude and postlude, for violinist Erik Rohde to be premiered in the fall of 2020.

Soliloquy III for solo Dulcimer

Commissioned by Alex Lubet, McKinley will compose a solo work for mountain dulcimer to be premiered in the fall of 2019.
